SERVICES - Corporate Apartments

WorkForce Cleaning, Inc. was founded because of the need for regular maid service and move-out cleaning within the corporate apartment industry. We currently clean between 100 – 150 corporate apartments each week for both individual companies and Chicago’s leaders in the corporate apartment industry.

Our staff is also available for corporate apartment set-up cleaning, which includes unloading all boxes and putting away housewares, followed by a detailed maid service.

Regular Maid Service Includes:

Bedroom(s) Cleaning:

  • Strip bed and remake with laundered corporate linens
  • Wash, dry & fold bed linens – place extra sheets in bedroom closet
  • Remove debris underneath bed and alongside the nightstands
  • Dust all furniture, pictures and bed headboards. Windex mirrors
  • Vacuum carpeted areas

Bathroom(s) Cleaning:

  • Clean shower stall, tub, sink, vanity, mirror, toilet, faucets and floors
  • Wash, dry, fold & hang bath linens
  • Place extra towels in linen closet

Kitchen Cleaning:

  • Wash & put away dishes in dishwasher
  • Clean all countertop appliances
  • Clean exterior of kitchen cabinets, countertops, sink, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer/dryer, stove
  • Clean coffee maker, including filter
  • Clean exterior & interior of microwave
  • Wash & fold kitchen towels

General Cleaning:

  • Dust all furniture, fireplace mantle, baseboards, window sills
  • Clean mirrors and glass surfaces
  • Clean laundry room floor
  • Vacuum entire apartment
  • Remove all trash and empty all wastebaskets and put in new trash liners
  • Mop door entry, bathroom & kitchen floors
  • Lock apartment door

Move-out Cleaning Includes:

Kitchen:

  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen cabinets, interior and exterior
  • Unplug the refrigerator. Remove any food or other items inside the refrigerator and/or freezer and clean the entire appliance- removing trays, as needed. Clean behind and above refrigerator. Plug the refrigerator in when finished cleaning.
  • Clean the inside of the oven, the oven racks, the broiler pan, and the drawer below the oven.
  • Clean the top of the stove, including the burner pans and beneath the burner pans, and under and around the temperature knobs. Clean behind the stove.
  • Clean the wall behind the stove, the vent and filter above the stove, and the exterior of the range hood.
  • Run the garbage disposal to remove any debris.
  • Remove all shelf contents. Clean and disinfect cabinet shelves and doors.
  • Dispose of all trash.
  • Clean all countertops.
  • Scrub, disinfect, and polish kitchen floor.
  • Clean the kitchen sink and fixtures, removing any lime deposits.
  • Clean all kitchen baseboards and walls.
  • Dust above cabinets.

Bathroom(s):

  • Dust and windex globe light bulbs
  • Windex mirrors
  • Clean the bathroom countertop and sink, the towel & shower bars and the toilet paper holder fixture. Polish all silver/chrome when finished
  • Clean the inside, outside & above the medicine cabinet
  • Scrub & disinfect shower walls and tub basin, removing any mildew or lime deposits
  • Towel dry tub and shower walls
  • Clean the exterior surfaces of the toilet. Scrub the toilet bowl
  • Clean the bathroom floor. Scrub any stains or spots on the floor

General Cleaning:

  • Remove all trash from the apartment
  • Dust & clean baseboards and window sills
  • Clean window frames & windex windows, leaving no streak marks
  • If applicable, wash exterior and interior of balcony windows & window frames
  • Remove any marks from the walls, door or door frames (if necessary)
  • Vacuum the carpet, removing debris along the baseboards

Corporate Apartment FAQ

Q: Is WorkForce Cleaning licensed, bonded & insured?
A: Yes. A certificate of insurance is available upon request.


Q: Do you conduct background checks on your cleaning staff?
A: Yes. Each one of our employees undergoes the following pre-employment screenings: verification of identity and federal, state and local criminal background checks.
Q: How many housekeepers do you have on staff?
A: There are currently 55 full-time housekeepers on staff.
Q: Do your housekeepers speak English?
A: Most of our staff speaks English or Spanish. Our staff normally works in teams of two, so we try to pair up any non-English speakers with staff who speak English.
Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: Our staff cleans Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. We try to start our first appointments between 8:30 – 9 a.m., and get into our last appointments by 3 p.m. Our housekeepers are available for weekend and evening work on an as needed basis for our corporate clients.
Q: Do your housekeepers carry their own supplies?
A: Yes. Our housekeeping staffs are equipped with name-brand cleaning supplies, including Lysol, Windex, Soft Scrub, Comet, Murphy’s Oil and Pledge. Plus, they carry their own commercial vacuum cleaners, rags and brooms.
Q: Do your housekeepers wear uniforms?
A: Yes. Our employees wear WorkForce Cleaning shirts, and carry company Ids.
Q: Have your housekeepers cleaned corporate apartments before?
A: Yes. WorkForce Cleaning was founded because of the growing need for contracted cleaning for corporate apartment companies. In any given week, our staff cleans 150 – 200 corporate apartments. We provide both regular maid service and turnover cleaning for corporate apartments. In addition, a number of corporate housing providers have outsourced their cleaning crews to our company.
Q: How can I request a quote or proposal?
A: Please call the WorkForce Cleaning office to set up a site visit and/or proposal. For any company hiring us to clean 10 + apartments, we will submit a proposal for cleaning. Rates vary upon frequency and type of cleaning.

A: References from current corporate apartment clients are available upon request.
