SERVICES - Residential Cleaning

WorkForce Cleaning provides regular housekeeping service or service on an as needed basis to more than 300 homes each week. Our housekeepers carry all of their own cleaning supplies, including name-brand cleaning products and commercial vacuum cleaners.

Price per cleaning varies according to the size of the home, frequency of service, and type of service. In addition, WorkForce Cleaning reserves the right to charge an additional fee for your first cleaning. This is to allow for additional time for the housekeepers to clean your home and familiarize themselves with your cleaning needs.

Housekeeping Service Details:

Residential housekeeping includes a top-to-bottom cleaning of the entire home. Spending most of the time in the kitchen and bathroom(s), our staff will clean everything from your shower tile to your kitchen baseboards:

  • Clean interior/exterior of all kitchen countertop appliances, including microwave, toaster, can opener, coffee maker
  • Clean exterior of all kitchen cabinets & drawers
  • Clean kitchen sink, refrigerator exterior, dishwasher & stovetop
  • Wash & put away dishes
  • Clean shower stall, tub, vanity, sink, mirror, toilet, faucets, and floors
  • Mop & disinfect floors & baseboards. Vacuum carpeted areas
  • Dust & polish furniture
  • Make bed. Change linens, per customer request
  • Windex mirrors and windows
  • Throw away all trash
  • Laundry services available on an hourly basis. You must contract our company for a minimum of 4 man hours at $20.00 per man hour to include laundry service in your cleaning. Our staff will complete as much laundry as possible in the contracted time.

No contract required. However, there is a $25.00 cancellation fee for any appointments not cancelled by 8:30 a.m. the day of the cleaning (for both regular and as needed customers)

"Move-out" and "spring" cleaning services available. These types of services include cleaning the inside of the oven, refrigerator, kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, and the exterior balcony windows, in addition to the regular housekeeping service. The rate is $20.00 per man hour, with a 4 hour minimum.

Housekeeping services payable by VISA, Mastercard, or American Express. Payment may be made by cash or check, but our office must have a credit card on file to reserve an appointment.

Housekeeping FAQ

Q: Is the company licensed, bonded & insured? How do you make sure my home is protected while you are cleaning?
A: Yes. A certificate of insurance is available upon request. In addition, each one of our employees undergoes the following pre-employment screenings: verification of identity and federal, state and local criminal background checks.


Q: How many housekeepers do you have on staff?
A: There are currently 55 full-time housekeepers on staff.
Q: Do your housekeepers speak English?
A: Most of our staff speaks English or Spanish. Our staff normally works in teams of two, so we try to pair up any non-English speakers with staff who speak English.
Q: What hours can I schedule a housekeeper to clean my home?
A: Our staff cleans Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. We try to start our first appointments between 8:30 – 9 a.m., and get into our last appointments by 3 p.m.
Q: Do your housekeepers carry their own supplies?
A: Yes. Our housekeeping staffs are equipped with name-brand cleaning supplies, including Lysol, Windex, Soft Scrub, Comet, Murphy’s Oil and Pledge. Plus, they carry their own commercial vacuum cleaners, rags and brooms.
Q: Do your housekeepers wear uniforms?
A: Yes. Our employees wear WorkForce Cleaning shirts, and carry company I.D.s
Q: How long does it take to clean my home?
A: Depending on the size of your home and the frequency of your cleaning, apartment cleanings can vary. For a Studio/Convertible or 1-Bedroom apartment, we estimate a clean should take 2-1/2 – 3 man hours. For a 2-Bedroom or 3-Bedroom apartment, we estimate the clean should take 4 – 5 man hours. For houses and townhomes, we work on an hourly basis to be determined by the customer.
Q: Can I get laundry service?
A: Our housekeepers will wash up to 4 loads of laundry during a clean, but you must hire our service on an hourly basis, with a 5 hour minimum. We will send only one housekeeper to work in your home, normally for an entire morning or afternoon.
Q: What happens if I am not happy with my housekeeping appointment?
A: Please call our office within 24 hours of the clean for a solution. We can not send our housekeepers back to your home for a “touch-up” unless you call our office within a day of your cleaning.
Q: Is there a cancellation fee?
A: Yes, but only if you do not cancel your service by 8:30 a.m. the day of your cleaning. If you forget to cancel an appointment, a $25.00 fee will be assessed on your credit card.
Q: Do I have to sign a contract when I sign up for regular service?
A: No. There is no contract. However, if you move or need to cancel your cleaning service, we ask that you contact the WorkForce office immediately.
